Sun Cruise Resort

The kids have been wanting to go to the beach this Summer.  It's just been difficult to get there with everyone's schedule.  We made it work this weekend.  We headed to Gangneung and stayed at the Sun Cruise Resort.

It is a fun hotel on the edge of a cliff by the ocean.  We had a beautiful beach view from our rooms.

We checked in, changed into swimsuits and headed to the beach.

Thomas was loving the waves!
Ben was a little cautious...

Makayla and Shelby were doing a little photo shoot.

Our little mermaid:)

Finding sea shells was a highlight.

Ryan was the only one to find a sand dollar.
One of the girls found a pink shell for Kensley.

We took a break from the beach to tour a huge S. Korean ship.

Syd said she would love to have this job...great view and a seat.

We picked up some Ramen for the kids at CVforU.  Then Ryan and I went to the restaurant in the hotel.  This was Ryan's dinner looking at me.  I just ordered cheese pizza.  I'm not that brave.

As we were eating we noticed something going on at the beach.  We think it was a proposal.  The guy made a heart out of candles and had music playing.  After he proposed he had a friend light fireworks.  Ryan said, "Koreans really are romantic and cutesie."  The couples love to match.
We headed back to the room to see who wanted to go on a walk.  We got a few takers...

It was so fun to sit and watch the kids run, play and be silly.
We have some videos of Ben's exercise routine and the girls rolling down the hill together.
Then Ryan took the four older girls to "Nori Bong" also known as Karaoke.  You get your own private room for an hour.  Ryan was a hit!  The girls were laughing so hard!  They saw a side of dad they have never seen:)
Then we called it a day.
