Hanguel day

South Korea's King Sejong "the Great" created Hanguel (the Korean Alphabet).  Korea has a national holiday celebrating the creation of Hanguel.
Karley is in a after school Korean Culture class.  Her teacher invited the class to attend a fashion show commemorating Hanguel Day.  Karley was super excited and I was excited to hang out with her.
I was grateful the show hosts spoke English too so I could understand.
It was a two part show...the first part was musical entertainment.

Our favorite one was a old man dancing.  The title was "Grandpa's a Super Star"
He was very entertaining!  He had the crowd laughing.

Then the fashion show started with cute little children in their traditional Korean clothes.

The rest of the fashion show was telling the life story of King Sejong.

King Sejong was the third son of King Taejong.

Karley and Lana had fun talking about all the traditional clothing.
