I don't think the Ajushi's like the fall leaves as much. They work so hard with their little brooms to clean up the leaves.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was a little different this year. I didn't wake up super early to get my newspaper for Black Friday. Ryan took the 5 older ones for a morning run. A friend of ours lost their little 3yr. old son a few days before Thanksgiving. So every year they run for him to help raise money for the children's hospital.
Our ward Christmas party
We had walk in Bethlehem Christmas party. It was well attended, enough food, happy kids and a strong spirit. They had a great idea. They had the primary presidency take the kids to the primary room for a movie/craft while the parents cleaned up. This way everyone got to leave early. I only got a picture of the younger ones. Makayla and Shelby were on their way home from Osan. Where they enjoyed a fun youth activity with Amber and Bo.
Shelby
Our very sweet, tender, very cautious Shelby broke her wrist. We don't know why she is always the one to get hurt. You would think our crazy Karley or wild boys would have the injuries.
I got a call from the school nurse telling me Shelby broke her arm and is panicking. I got ahold of Ryan and he came to her rescue. They spent the day in the ER together enjoying each other's company.
They had to add more weight to help set her wrist. Ryan tried to watch the Dr. set it and bend her like a noodle. He said he had to look away. Good thing they gave Shelby something for the pain!
They put her in a hard cast the next day. Kensley was my photographer. She did pretty good :)
She is happy she doesn't have to play basketball that her mom signed her up for. She is Super sad she can't play the piano or clarinet for the Christmas concert!! She is a quick learner and is doing Amazing as a lefty:)
Because Shelby is so sweet her little brothers and sisters LOVE her. They were so concerned about their Shelby. We made her a candy bar bouquet.

Seoul Lantern Festival
I have been seeing different friends post pictures of the Seoul Lantern Festival. I was really wanting to go see it. The girls didn't have piano on Wednesday so we headed over to cheonggye plaza to see the lights. These displays are made from handmade light paper (hanji). They use this for their lamps. It was so beautiful my pictures don't do it justice.
Happy Birthday Makayla!!!
Makayla started celebrating her birthday on Saturday. She enjoyed most of the day face timing friends from TX. Then Ryan and I took her shopping in Meyong Dong. Makayla was wanting Korean so we found a fun restaurant. She takes a TON of selfies so I find it odd that she didn't like me taking a ton of pictures:)
After we got our tummies full we headed over to Forever 21. Ryan was patient while we shopped forever!! She found some fun things though:)
When we got home the kids had decorated the house with a sign and balloons. The little kids kept telling Makayla "Its your Birthday tomorrow". I think Kensley was more excited than Makayla :)
Seoul National Science Musuem
This was our 2nd time at the science museum. The kids love this place! It is a fun place with so much to do. They always have fun projects too:)
Bukchon Hanok Village
When Aunt Nancy was here, she really enjoyed walking around this village. So for our outing today, we walked around Bukchon Hanok Village.
Some of the workshops weren't open. The boys were looking forward to making a traditional kite. I guess we will have to go back another day.
The girls made bracelets. Thomas was so good to help Kensley!
I love the old oriental style of the homes. I'm glad they try to preserve this little village. Some of the homes are open to the public. The older girls refused to go in...it's just awkward;)

Rubber Ducky
A huge 54 foot rubber duck is floating in the Seokchon lake. It was created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman.
I decided to take the little kids to see it on the elementary kids day off. We had a fun subway ride there. As we were trying to find our exit, Ben saw a red light glowing. He was so excited to see a Krispy Kreme we had to detour:). Ben LOVES doughnuts!!
Now we were ready to go find this rubber duck people were talking about.
This guy kept distracting my kiddos from looking at me...I should have got behind him to take the picture.
We took a break to skype daddy and rest before we headed home. I sure love this sweet Sydney!! She is always good to thank me when we go do fun things. She is just sweet and thoughtful:).
That building behind us is the new Lotte World Mall, consists of 123 stories. We might have to do a little shopping there when it is complete;)

Halloween
We did something a little different this year. Koreans don't celebrate Halloween and I didn't feel like joining the madness on post. I didn't make any costumes this year either. I was kind of a lame mom on this holiday. We did do a little Halloween party...
(Thanks to grandma Brenda for Kensley and Ben's costumes. And Grandma Charla for Sydney's dr. stuff.)
We played a little Halloween bingo. Ben enjoyed being the caller.
Kensley loved this game. She had a hard time because she kept laughing.
The kids thought it was fun to wrap up mom and dad like mummies. I think my team won;)
I think everyone had a Happy Halloween.
