Thomas' me project

Thomas had to make a "ME" project.  The teacher was going to display them then the kids had to guess who it was.
Thomas wanted to have his in a Taekwondo uniform.  It was so fun to work on this project with him.  As he was cutting out the body he said, "mom I can't cut too straight."  I replied, "dad says the same thing when I want him to help me cut."  Then we got to the glue gun part.  "Mom, I can do this because I like guns!"  Dad likes guns too:). He actually did really good and didn't get burned.
Here's the finished product...

Ben lost his 1st tooth

Ben had a wiggley tooth.  So aunt Amber gave him a snickers.  She said, "the Carmel in this candy bar will get your tooth out."  Sure enough!  As he was eating he made a strange face.  Then he exclaimed, "it came out!"  I looked at what he was holding and it was a peanut.   I looked at his mouth and his tooth was missing along with a mouthful of chewed up snickers.  I quickly had him spit it all out in a napkin so we could find the tooth or see if he swallowed it.  We found it!!

He was so excited to stick it in the tooth fairy pillow.

He is so fun to have in our family!

Namsan Tower

We were having a "chill" day.  Then I noticed the kids starting to get on each other's nerves.  So I sent them all outside for a breath of fresh air.  I needed a moment.
As I sat there on my bed enjoying the peace and quite.  I had the thought...take the kids for a hike up to Seoul tower.  I thought about it for a minute then said to myself "no, they are just fine playing outside."  But I couldn't get that thought out of my head.  So I packed a back pack with treats and got the kiddos.  Thomas was super excited!  The other kids were not as excited to go.  I said, "we are not running up there like we do with dad.  We are taking our time so we can enjoy this beautiful weather and nature."  I'm just not in shape to take them up there like a Ryan;)
And so we were off...

It really is a beautiful walk with the trees and views of Seoul.  Once we got to the top we decided to take the elevator all the way up.  The kids were ecstatic.
We took a picture of Sydney here when she was a baby.  I need to find it:)
It was fun to look out over Seoul.  The kids tried finding our house.

Shelby working on her photography art.
Makayla sent a love postcard;)

Then we got a lock of love for our family.

It was a fun evening.  It wore them out...win for mom!!

Kensley and Mom at the Temple

I needed to pick up some stuff from the distribution center.  We got there a little early before it opened.  So we decided to walk around the temple.  Kensley was quick to show me Angel Moroni.

The temple grounds are so beautiful and peaceful.  Kensley LOVED the flowers!

Our attempt at a selfie...
I love going to the temple!  I love that my kids love the temple and realize how special it is.

Karley and Sydney's Tonsillectomy

Karley and Sydney had their tonsils taken out on Tuesday.  We kept going back and forth trying to decide if this was a good choice.  After praying and thinking of all the reasons why the doctors think they should have them removed we decided to go ahead with the procedure.  The girls both did Awesome! The whole medical team was great.  They were so good to the girls.  They were mindful of a mother trying to do this on her own.  I usually don't have good things to say about military doctors, staff, and procedures.  I think Heavenly Father blessed me with caring and good hearted medical staff.  I know Heavenly Father was showing me and the girls tender mercies throughout the day.

Here is a before picture of the girls a little silly and nervous.
Here is an after with their nurses...

We headed down to the pharmacy and got their meds.
However, these girls have managed their pain well without most of these.  Motrin seems to work great and make them feel better.  They have been drinking lots of water and using do Terra oils.  These oils amaze me!  They have been sucking on On Guard drops.  Then applying Frankincense and Cypress on their necks to help with pain.

A few of the Beehives brought Karley a smoothie and card.

I have had fun hanging out with them this week.  Karley kept us laughing which hurts them.
We had a dongdaemun outing.

We made cakes one day.  Which they couldn't eat so the piano teacher enjoyed one and the rest of the family enjoyed the other.
They enjoyed Popsicles, Smoothies and Ice cream.  We watched a lot of movies too!!

School 2015

Back to School...
The kids were excited to go to school and see friends.  I was so sad!  I love hanging out with them!

Makayla wanted to have a little photo shoot of Ben and her.

A few soldiers from the Army band playing fun songs to pump up the kids.  The boys loved it.
Sydney and Kiley ready to start 5th grade.
Ben was super excited to ride the bus to school.  Thomas is such a good, protective brother:)

Oh how I love my cute Ben!  He is so good to me.  He told Kensley, "make sure you give mom rub backs for rest time.  She likes that".  When he got home he asked me if Kens gave me a rub back:).
I loved hearing about his 1st day.  He was the leader all day.  He made sure the other kids didn't get out of line or cut.  He made 2 friends... the boy with the batman lunch box and the boy with the batman shirt.  They got to have chocolate pudding for snack time.  He thinks Kindergarten is Awesome!

Kensley stayed busy while they were at school.  She enjoyed treats, makeup and Koreans treating her like a princess.

BUT...she missed Ben.  She kept asking about him all day.  They had a cute little reunion when Ben got off the bus.
We joined Ben for lunch on Friday.  I hope these two always stay close!
